The Department of Surgery and Cancer provides a number of research opportunities. We currently have over 400 research students studying towards either a PhD or MD (Res).

The Department welcomes research degree applications from around the world, provided that they meet Imperial College’s eligibility criteria. We can provide projects in any of our research areas, reflecting the patient-centred nature of our translational research.
