Physics is a strong focus of research at EPFL, and more than 150 doctoral students are pursuing their thesis in this discipline. The EPFL Doctoral Program in Physics offers the entryway, the administrative home and advanced courses to EPFL’s doctoral candidates in physics.

About 50 professors and 50 senior research scientists have two missions: to perform research in physics at the international level and to provide highest quality education for EPFL students majoring in both physics and other disciplines.
