项目介绍
The main focus of the project is developing reliable digital process twins, specifically, digital twins for object-centric processes using MDE. The foundations of the project have been published in a prior paper, see https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s10270-024-01191-z. Given the international research team, research stays at the collaborating research labs at TU Wien will be part of the PhD.
As a PhD-student, you are expected, next to your main research tasks, to participate in seminars and conferences, to enrol in the PhD program of the Faculty of Economics and Business, and to perform a limited amount of educational duties (e.g. supervising student master’s thesis).
Profile
Candidates preferably have a master’s degree in Business and Information Systems Engineering, Informatics, or Computer Science. Excellent (honors-level or better) results in prior studies are required. Candidates must satisfy the prerequisites for admission to the PhD programme of our faculty. In addition, we require:
- A good background knowledge in the area of software engineering
- Solid Java/Javascript/Python programming skills.
- Solid mathematical background.
- Good background knowledge in the areas of business process modelling and model-driven engineering is a plus.
- Passion for research, willingness to go the extra mile, creativity
- Ability to work efficiently in a research setting, i.e. be able to investigate new research questions and solutions.
