The successful candidate will join the Fundamental Neutron and Precision Physics Group at AEC/LHEP and work on the n2EDM experimental program.

The work will be mostly focused on data analysis and statistical studies, Monte Carlo simulations, and the quantitative investigation of systematic effects.

The student will also actively participate in data-taking shifts, operation and monitoring of the experiment, and related experimental activities at PSI

Applicants should hold, or expect to obtain, an MSc degree in physics. A strong interest in experimental physics, precision measurements, data analysis, and computational methods is expected. Experience with programming, Monte Carlo simulations and statistical data analysis would be an advantage.

The selection process will be conducted on a rolling basis, and the position will remain open until filled. The starting date is flexible and will be agreed upon with the successful candidate.
