We are seeking a motivated postdoctoral researcher in Mathematics with expertise in mathematical relativity, broadly interpreted to include Lorentzian geometry, geometric analysis, and partial differential equations related to general relativity. You will work under the supervision of Dr Annegret Burtscher on problems related to non-smooth spacetime geometries and spacetimes with singular boundaries appearing in general relativity. The position is part of the Vidi project ‘Spacetimes near the Boundary of Existence’, funded by the Dutch Research Council.

You will be encouraged to participate in relevant conferences, workshops and seminars, and to communicate your findings through publications in peer-reviewed journals. There are no teaching obligations but, if so desired, a light teaching load or supervision tasks can be arranged.
