This position is funded by a donation from the Högbom-Cocozza Research Foundation to support the employment of postdoctoral researchers conducting research in medicine and health.

Work assignments

The LiLAC-HF trial is a multicentre randomised controlled trial evaluating the LiLAC programme, a nurse-led, lung fluid-guided heart failure management programme delivered in primary care. The programme uses Remote Dielectric Sensing (ReDS), an innovative non-invasive technology for assessing lung fluid levels and supporting the early detection of worsening heart failure. Alongside the trial, a process evaluation investigates implementation and contextual factors influencing programme delivery. The overall aim is to improve patient outcomes, reduce hospital admissions, and generate evidence regarding both the effectiveness and implementation of this care model.

Further information about the project is available on the LiLAC-HF website.
