Welcome to the Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures at Columbia! The Department offers undergraduate and graduate tracks in Russian, Ukrainian, Czech, Polish, and Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian languages, literatures, and cultures. You can use the navigation links on the left hand side of the page to find out more about the aspects of the Department you are interested in.

The Department is closely linked to a number of other programs and centers in the wider Columbia community. These relationships greatly expand the range and richness of what we have to offer, but can also seem confusing at first.
