The University of Zürich Department of Theoretical Philosophy is hiring a position within Prof. Dr. Anne Meylan’s Chair in Theoretical Philosophy. The successful candidate would be working in epistemology, normativity, and/or rationality

Your responsibilities

Undertaking research in epistemology, normativity, and/or rationality. Teaching in theoretical philosophy (typically one course per semester). Some administrative and organizational duties.

Your profile

• PhD in philosophy, preferably in epistemology.
• Willingness to write and publish excellent research papers on epistemology, normativity, and/or rationality
• Willingness to work in a collaborative research environment and to take an active part in ZEGRa’s and the department’s activities (seminars, workshops, etc.)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of German is not required but may be an advantage.
