The Rector Roger Dillemans Institute for Family Property Law under the direction of prof. Dr. Alain Laurent Verbeke is part of the Private Law Research Unit and provides education and research in the area of family property law, inheritance law, gifts and wills.Website unit
You are expected to conduct PhD research in the field Family Property Law, under the supervision of prof. dr. Alain Laurent Verbeke.
You are expected to conduct scientific research, both your own research and concerning projects of the Institute.
You are expected to provide teaching support (practical exercises, seminars, supervising papers).
- You are holder of a Master in Law, with excellent results.
- Since the teaching activities are in Dutch, knowledge of Dutch is required.
- A Master in Notarial Studies is a plus.
- Also international experience (for example via an Erasmus exchange) is a plus.
A full time contract for 1 year, as of September 1, 2021, which can be renewed to a maximum of four years in total.
