At DTU Chemical Engineering in the center AT-CERE we have a PhD position open in the area of thermodynamic and process modelling for novel CO₂ capture solvents. 

You will develop and extend our in-house thermodynamic and unit operation models as well as combining new and existing models into commercial process simulators.

Responsibilities and qualifications
You will work in a team developing advanced thermodynamic and process models in order to describe CO₂ capture processes using promising novel solvents. You will develop ways to parameterize these novel solvents, where detailed physical data may be scarce. You will integrate our suite of thermodynamic and unit operation models into commercial process simulators.

You must have a two-year master’s degree (120 ECTS points) or a similar degree with an academic level equivalent to a two-year master’s degree.

Approval and Enrolment 
The scholarship for the PhD degree is subject to academic approval, and the candidate will be enrolled in one of the general degree programmes at DTU. Salary and appointment terms 
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations.
