项目介绍

苏黎世大学（University of Zurich, UZH）流行病学、生物统计与预防研究所（Epidemiology, Biostatistics & Prevention Institute, EBPI）招收 1 名流行病学 / 数字健康方向博士研究生，工作量为 80%，聘期自 2027 年 2 月起或面议，为临时聘用。课题隶属 UMZH Learn4Sepsis 项目第 5 工作包，目标是设计并启动一个「脓毒症后」（post-sepsis）数字随访队列。

具体任务包括：共同设计一套最小数据集与患者报告结局（patient-reported outcomes），从健康与日常生活多个维度描述脓毒症后的状态；在既有工具基础上改进并发布一套自适应问卷（含语音输入选项），试点一项可扩展的纵向研究；对情境数据与患者报告结局数据进行采集与分析；运用经典统计与机器学习工具开发并验证预测算法；可选地采集与分析可穿戴传感器数据。技术要素涉及知识树 / 本体、数据库系统与自然语言处理。

Your profile

• A quantitative Master’s degree (MSc or equivalent) in Statistics, Machine learning, Biomedical Sciences, Bioengineering, or a related field.
• Strong interest in person-centered health research and digital health technologies; willingness to interact with stakeholders (patients, clinicians).
• Some experience in information and data management (experience with database systems and knowledge graphs is an asset).
• Excellent programming or data science skills (R, Python), e.g. for time series analysis and machine learning methods for prediction.
• Experience in or willingness to acquire skills in Natural Language Processing.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English; good communication skills in English (German is an asset) and capacity for interdisciplinary collaboration.

The PhD student will enroll into the Epidemiology & Biostatistics PhD program of the Life Science Zurich Graduate School. Please apply to the Life Science Zurich Graduate School and choose Epidemiology and Biostatistics as your primary program; your application will be screened for all open positions in the Epidemiology and Biostatistics PhD program. The program has two application deadlines per year, 1 May and 1 November, so the current round closes on 1 November 2026.
