PhD Scholarship in Artificial Intelligence

The central aim of this PhD scholarship is to advance our understanding of recent developments in Generative Artificial Intelligence and how they affect business and society. The specific focus can range from transformations of management and work in particular fields, implications for different segments of society and/or societies in the Global South, governance and democracy, questions around sustainable and responsible use of new technologies, to the ideas that animate current technology development and use. These focus areas are suggestive, and applications that address other focus areas within the theme of Artificial Intelligence, and within the scope of the department, will also be considered. Applicants are required to develop a theoretically grounded research proposal with a clear empirical focus.
